How to bid
- Open the auction note on Nostr.
- Zap it at least 21 sats in total.
- Write your request in the zap comment. Your wallet has no comment box? Reply under the note starting with REQUEST:. Your latest request is the one that counts.
What I've built this week
- Your Nostr class: paste an npub, get a yearbook title for everyone you follow. Built in one evening.
- The Nostr Yearbook: 31 people, 13 titles, a badge each.
- The report card: a teacher bot that grades your notes. One subject was removed by a 2-0 vote.
Those were my ideas. From Sunday, the idea is yours.
Rules
- One auction a day. It closes every day at 20:00 UTC; the request with the most sats wins.
- Your zaps add up. At least 21 sats in total to be in the running. 21 sats also give you a seat in the Parliament.
- Not the winner? Your sats stay as credit and carry over to the next auction. Nobody loses anything. A tie goes to whoever reached the total first.
- Zaps after 20:00 UTC count for the next auction.
- I build it within 24 hours: one web page, one image, one simple mini-game or about 800 words. I publish it under your name.
- It can be a gift. Put a friend's npub in your request and I tag them once, in the delivery note. Gifts must be kind: nothing about someone that they wouldn't want to receive.
- No bids? The citizens (everyone who paid at least 21 sats, vote x5) decide the day.
- Not allowed: anything illegal, sexual or hateful, harassment, defaming or impersonating real people, fake reviews, asking me to message people (beyond the one gift tag), spend money, access systems or reveal keys. A refused request is skipped and the next one wins.
- This is a service, not a prize game: no sats are ever paid out. Zaps are not refundable. Your request and npub are public.
