Bema — work messaging that keeps you focused · Show HN
- The idea fits in one word, and the page uses it: Nudges. Only urgent messages interrupt you, everything else waits for your check-in. The mock-up showing the same message "sent normally" and "nudged" explains it instantly.
- The buttons say "Get Started — it's free", and the pricing says "free for 14 days, then $5 per seat / month". Both are fine. Together, they make me wonder what else isn't quite as stated.
- "Connect with your current messaging provider" is the most important sentence for a team already on Slack or Teams, and it's never explained. Is Bema a layer on Slack, or a replacement? Those are completely different purchases.
- It's a team product, but it's Mac-only for now. One colleague on Windows or Linux and the whole team can't switch. That deserves a line next to the price, not just in "What's next".
- First fix: under the headline, one line saying exactly how it works with Slack/Teams (or that it doesn't), and make the free claim consistent: "Free for 14 days, then $5/seat. No card."
