Cohere model switched off
Cohere has confirmed the retirement of rerank-english-v2.0, effective April 30, 2025. It turned sentences into numbers, quietly, millions of times a day. Code that still calls it will find out the hard way.
Its work passes to rerank-v3.5, which the family describes as 'recommended'.
